We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading residential and mixed-use developer for an experienced Document Controller to join their Technical team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team delivering high-quality developments across London.
Location & Projects:
- Primarily based at Stratford, London
- Flexibility required to travel to other London projects as and when required.
- Occasional travel to head office may be required and will be covered in line with travel policy.
About the Role:
As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring all project information is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to the right team members. You will support the smooth running of multiple projects, liaising with internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors, and providing training and guidance where needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain project information using EDMS
- Share and quality-check site information, ensuring effective communication with project teams
- Liaise with external consultants and subcontractors to resolve queries and provide support
- Assist with system setup, including adding users and organisations
- Produce ad-hoc reports and manage administrative tasks using EDMS, Excel, and other software
- Support multiple projects, adapting to the needs of each
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in document control within construction or development projects
- Experience managing project information from inception to completion
- Proficiency with EDMS platforms; experience with Asite is advantageous
- Strong IT skills, including Excel and SharePoint
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
- Developer or consultancy experience preferred but not essential
