About This Opportunity
Cumberland Council is looking for a dedicated and caring Domestic/Laundry Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents in our care homes. In this vital role, you�ll be responsible for general cleaning, laundry duties, and supporting kitchen tasks, all while promoting high standards of hygiene and infection control. You�ll also play a part in ensuring equipment is well-maintained and used safely in line with COSHH guidelines.
We�re looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, and committed to making a difference. While previous experience in a similar setting is desirable, it�s not essential�we value a willingness to learn and a positive attitude. This role is available on a fixed-term basis.
