Description
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic experienced Domestic Supervisor to join the Team at The Royal Liverpool Hospital.
You will have a good working knowledge of the National Standards of Cleanliness 2025, COSHH and Infection Prevention & Control procedures, you will need effective IT, written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge and experience of supervising a cleaning service and be able to work under pressure with the ability to work as part of a team using your own initiative is essential, with some flexibility in order to meet the demands of the service, with the ability to motivate the team.
Previous cleaning experience at a supervisory level is essential criteria for this role

Hours: 37. 5 hours per week rota to include Early, Late & weekend shifts, will also include working Bank Holidays shifts as follows:
06:00 - 14:00
07:00 – 15:00
08:00 - 16:00
11:00 - 19:00
You will be required to work, maintain and monitor to the National Standards of Cleanliness 2025, by coordinating and supervising the cleaning team, to provide direct Supervision and organisation to a team of domestic staff.
To arrange cover for absences and untoward incidences and facilitate adjustment of work schedules in light of daily requirements to meet the exigencies of the service and maintain acceptable standards of clean.
To ensure all staff in the team are working to trust policies and are properly instructed and trained in the use of standard operating methods, equipment and techniques required to provide a clean and safe environment.
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.
