Mid Level & Senior .NET Developer (Azure / API Experience)

As they continue to grow, we're looking for both Mid level & Senior .NET Developer's with strong Azure and API development experience to join our talented, collaborative engineering team.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions that support thousands of accounting professionals nationwide. Working closely with our product managers, architects, and QA specialists, you’ll help shape our technology roadmap and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development practices.

This is a hybrid position, with flexibility to work remotely and occasional on-site collaboration (1–2 times per month) at our Warwick office.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust .NET applications and RESTful APIs.
Take part in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
Build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions in Microsoft Azure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
Implement best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps processes.
Support and mentor junior developers, promoting continuous learning within the team.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Strong commercial experience with C# / .NET 6+ and ASP.NET Core.
Proven experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault, etc. - AWS experience considered also.
Experience with Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, and data-driven applications.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Desirable:

Experience within fintech, accounting, or financial software sectors.
Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
Exposure to frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Blazor).
Understanding of security best practices for cloud and API development.

This role offers a quick 2 stage interview process.

You can be based anywhere in the UK, as long as you can get to my clients Warwick office at least twice a month.
