Introduction

We're looking for a permanent Support Driver to join our SGN framework, helping our site crews with the safe operation of vehicles and plant machinery. In this role, you'll support repair and maintenance teams by taking on a variety of hands-on tasks to keep things running smoothly on the ground.

What will I be doing?

You'll help keep things running smoothly and safely by supporting teams working on highways and private properties around the Horsham area. That includes helping set up and close sites, delivering signs and barriers, handing out fittings, and doing letter drops. You'll also make sure vehicles and machinery are operated safely, the site is secure before and after work, and disruption to residents is kept to a minimum.

What do I need to succeed?

This role is physically demanding, so it's important that you're comfortable with hands-on, active work. If you've got a full driving licence, NRSWA Units 1 and 2 (SLG), abrasive wheels training, and you're well-organised, that's a great start. And if you've done similar work before-even better!
