Balfour Beatty is offering an exciting opportunity for a
Driver/Operator to join our Rail team based in
Colchester.
What you'll be doing
Your Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a range of On-Track Machinery (OTM) on behalf of our customer.
Who we're looking for
Essential Skills & Experience
- Prior experience operating on-track plant, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to carry out minor maintenance and repairs.
- A proactive and positive attitude within a dedicated team working on high-profile contracts.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, bank holidays, and adapt to short-notice changes.
- Strong appreciation for customer service and relationship building.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
Desirable Attributes
- Comfortable using computers and basic digital tools.
- Awareness of railway health and safety standards, especially those related to train operations.
