Job Overview

This role will be assisting the Head of E-Systems to provide high quality E-Systems leading on E-Rostering. The post holder will lead, manage and help develop the E-Systems service on behalf of the Head of E-Systems, working closely with the Assistant Workforce Manager, ensuring the Health Board needs are met.
The post holder will be the Team Leader for the E-Rostering Administrators.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work with the Project Implementation Team to identify and lead on staff training and be the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board professional expert on staff rostering within the systems.
They will ensure managers and supervisors of all levels are trained to use the E-Systems effectively in order to realise the benefits of the systems.
They will lead on the future developments on Allocate/RLDatix Projects and they will work closely with the Heads of E-Systems in monitoring and reporting the associated data required for the achievement of all related finance and performance targets set for the project.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Education/Qualification

- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Prince 2 training (formal or informal, or willing to work towards attainment)
- Evidence of further development - education/training
Experience

- Previous experience of planning and managing work packages or projects with low complexity with successful delivery within time and cost.
- Good knowledge of computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to master new applications.
- Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects, e.g. PRINCE2.
- Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.

- Knowledge of the procurement process, including contract negotiations particularly in relation to IT procurements.
