Do you have a passion for the Early Years? This exciting opportunity will give you the chance to share your passion to inspire others.

Early Childhood Services, Early Years Quality and Attainment Team is a multidisciplinary team of Early Years Specialist Teachers and Quality Improvement Advisors who work with Private Voluntary and Independent settings, Schools and Academies. The team promote and support the delivery of high-quality early education and childcare provision, to raise attainment, especially with vulnerable children. You will also be working with early years providers to support the early identification of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and plan appropriate support, training and interventions.

You Will Need

  • Qualified Teacher Status and a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience of working in the early years to include classroom teaching
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle (unless disability precludes this)
  • Detailed and in-depth knowledge of current legislation, including the statutory guidance for the Early Years foundation Stage, Ofsted inspection requirements, SEND Code of Practice and safeguarding practices and protocols
  • Knowledge and experience of working with a range of vulnerable children particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
  • Experience of working in collaboration with a range of other professionals and agencies.
  • Excellent communication skills and a drive and commitment to ensuring young children have the best start in life.

There is 1 post available part time (0.6), which equates to 3 full days.

The work pattern for this vacancy is term time only including some very occasional weekends and evenings. Teachers pay and conditions.
