Ahmad Tea is a family led business, drawing on four generations of tea blending and tasting experience. The company began as a small tea boutique and our head office is based in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire. Whilst our head office is in the UK our teas are packed and blended in five factories around the world.
We are looking for an Ecommerce Assistant to manage and process online orders using our online systems (Shopify & Amazon) and packing and picking orders ready for dispatch. This is a hands-on, physical role that also involves computer work.
This part time role works 6 hours per day. An 8am start is essential on a Monday but start times can be flexible Tuesday - Friday. Flexibility with hours will be required during busy periods such as Black Friday/Christmas and to provide holiday cover for the ECommerce Executive. This role is fully office based as the tasks cannot be completed whilst working from home.
Role Overview
Managing and processing online orders using our online systems (Shopify & Amazon) and packing and picking orders ready for dispatch. This is a hands-on, physical role that also involves computer work.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Managing the fulfilment of online orders via the website, TikTok, and Faire – working to daily deadlines
· Managing the fulfilment of Amazon orders via Vendor Central System, including packing directly from the warehouse
· Stock Control
· Managing the shop space
· Merchandising support
· Product listings
· Coordinating online promotions, including scheduling and monitoring campaign activity
· Working with external partners/agencies to brief and manage the development of promotional assets
· Providing cover for the Ecommerce Executive during periods of absence
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Essential
· Good computer literacy – able to process and print orders using various systems and basic image editing software
· Good communication skills – verbal and written
· Positive, hardworking and a “can do” attitude
· Excellent reliability
· Ability to work as part of a team and also independently
· Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise
· Ability to lift heavy items with the maximum weight of 20kg
Desirable
· Experience with Shopify, Vendor Central and Navision
· Experience of working in an ecommerce environment
