POSITION OVERVIEW
The E-Commerce Manager will play a critical role in maintaining and optimising the performance of Fushi’s e-commerce platforms and lead the planning, execution, and performance analysis of all promotional and seasonal campaigns in line with the overarching Marketing strategy. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the role focuses on managing website functionality, enhancing user experience (UX), ensuring the seamless operation of marketplace storefronts, and improving the customer journey. This position is vital for ensuring Fushi's online presence reflects its values and delivers an outstanding customer experience while driving measurable business performance across channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Website Management & Trading
• Oversee the functionality and performance of Fushi’s website to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Actively manage the workflow of product and content across multiple websites; continually review processes for better speed, accuracy, and performance.
• Accountable for the ‘on-time’ delivery of product and campaign launches on the websites.
• Oversee the ecommerce trading calendar and support tactical sales initiatives to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Address and resolve technical issues in coordination with relevant teams or agencies.
• Act as a key business stakeholder for platform enhancements, the digital product roadmap, A/B testing strategy, and insights-led optimisations.
• Manage Fushi’s marketplace storefronts (Shopify, Amazon, etc.), ensuring product listings, pricing, and brand presentation are accurate and optimised.
• Optimise marketplace operations to maximise product visibility and sales performance.
• Manage the backend administration of the Shopify store—including adding new products, setting up promotions, updating content pages and social feeds.
• Analyse website and sales performance data, provide actionable insights and report findings to the marketing team to inform strategy.
Customer Journey & UX Optimisation
• Design and continuously improve the website’s user experience (UX), enhancing customer engagement and ease of navigation.
• Lead the planning, execution, QA, and performance analysis of all promotional and seasonal campaigns on the Shopify Plus platform, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and UX standards.
• Understand and share the performance of content to drive improvements in customer experience, product discovery, basket building, and conversion rates.
• Optimize the end-to-end customer journey across ecommerce storefronts by executing targeted campaigns and ensuring international relevance through localisation.
• Collaborate with UX/UI, Analytics, and Digital Agency teams to identify friction points and conversion drop-offs and lead the implementation of improvements.
• Act as the Ecommerce Lead in cross-functional initiatives partnering with other marketing functions, operations, and customer service to deliver consistent omnichannel experience.
• Manage the visual merchandising of the ecommerce store to drive product visibility and sales.
SEO, Content & Analytics
• Develop and implement SEO strategies—including product page optimisation, keyword-rich metadata, and ensuring technical SEO compliance.
• Collaborate with Commercial Domain Product Owners to define the roadmap for product information.
• Collaborate with SEO agencies on weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports delivered with insights and action plans.
• Use tools like Google Search Console, and Shopify to optimise search rankings and user experience.
• Optimise all product content and imagery for both on-site and off-site search performance.
• Use insights from paid media performance (Google, social) to inform web content strategy - aligning landing pages with successful ad messaging and boosting organic search relevance.
• Conduct research, plan, and oversee the creation of content for key website areas, homepage, collections, landing pages, FAQs, and product pages.
• Craft engaging, optimised copy for all website pages to enhance user engagement and SEO performance.

• Analyse website and sales performance data - providing actionable insights and reporting findings to the marketing team to inform strategy.

• Execute and monitor the implementation of top-level marketing campaigns - collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective execution.
REQUIREMENTS
• 4+ years in ecommerce management with focus on website functionality and UX optimisation.
• Experience managing online marketplaces like Amazon.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms (especially Shopify Plus).
• Knowledge of UX principles, customer journey analysis tools, and A/B testing.
• Experience using SEO tools and web analytics platforms.
• Must have experience of using AI tools.
• Ability to translate performance metrics into actionable strategy.
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and brand-aligned content that reflects Fushi’s tone of voice.
