We have an exciting opportunity to join our Campaigns & Planning team as an eCommerce Marketing Executive on a 12 Month FTC. Based from NEXT Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire with a competitive salary range and great benefits, such as company bonus, staff discount & more!

The Campaigns & Planning team play a vital part in NEXT's marketing activity. They are responsible for driving forward seasonal campaign planning and our always on paid media strategy across Next (UK & International). Working closely with teams across brand, media performance, trade, social, design & more to ensure every campaign is aligned, impactful and delivered on time. From briefing through to execution, they bring together creative ideas and commercial goals to deliver campaigns that drive brand awareness & consideration, and ultimately increase conversions. It’s a fast-paced, collaborative team that sits at the heart of turning big ideas into results-driven marketing activity.
About the Role:
As an eCommerce Marketing Executive in the Campaigns and Planning team, you will play a key role in delivering impactful paid media campaigns for Next (UK & International) and Lipsy. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Executive (Campaigns), you will lead the end-to-end campaign process, from seasonal planning and briefing through to creative delivery. Your focus will be on driving brand consideration and customer conversions through strategic, data-informed campaign execution.
What else is involved?
- Liaising with internal teams (trade, brand, PR, social,design, market research, data etc.) and our external media agency on seasonal / campaign planning in regards to kicking off the brief and overseeing the delivery of all creative requirements.
- Working alongside key stakeholders to plan and execute the creative requirements for all paid media campaigns across a variety of channels ranging from Sky, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Snap & Google.
- Working closely with the channel leads / media planning team internally to understand the performance of our campaigns in flight and what optimisations are being made to drive the most profitable performance.
- Ensuring that campaigns are delivered on time and to-brief, keeping other teams on track as part of the wider critical path in order to achieve this, updating where necessary if delays / challenges arise and what impact this has.
- Gather insightful learnings post campaign to take forward into future campaigns and activity and share these back with key stakeholders across the business.
About You:
- A minimum of 2+ years working experience within the Digital Marketing industry.
- A proactive self-starter who works well in a fast paced environment.
- Self-motivated & highly organised with the ability to adapt to a changing environment and stay calm under pressure.
- Experience in similar marketing campaign / planning roles
- Ability to write concise briefs for our campaigns for our media agency
- Knowledge of various paid marketing channels / platforms / formats
- Ability to understand creative requirements for multiple paid channels and articulate that within a creative brief for our internal creative teams
- Creative and inquisitive with a thirst to learn more.
- Ability to understand the numbers; although this role isn’t analytical at heart, we need to understand how our campaigns are driving performance for the business
- Able to manage time and workload effectively to deliver tasks in a timely manner, with multiple campaigns on the go at any given time
- Effective team player; can do attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A relevant degree would be preferred - Business, Digital Marketing.
