About the Role:

UM Education is seeking a dedicated International Student Assistant to support our students as they adapt to life and study in the UK. This full-time hybrid role combines on-site interaction with flexible remote work. You’ll play a key role in providing day-to-day support, ensuring students feel safe, confident, and cared for during their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist international students with daily tasks and personal support needs
Help facilitate a smooth transition into UK academic and social life
Communicate regularly with students and their families
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners

Uphold safeguarding protocols and ensure student well-being

Who You Are:

Fluent in English and Mandarin (verbal and written)
Experienced in student support, customer service, or similar roles
Knowledgeable about the UK education system and safeguarding practices
A strong communicator with cross-cultural sensitivity
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Flexible and adaptable — we work around student and client schedules
