About This Opportunity

Cumberland Council is seeking a dedicated EHCP Co-ordinator to join our SEND Team. In this vital role, youll lead statutory assessments, write and review Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and work closely with families, schools, and professionals to ensure the right support is in place. Youll also contribute to service commissioning and provide expert advice to education providers.

Were looking for someone with a Level 4 qualification or equivalent experience, strong knowledge of SEND legislation, and a background in working with children and families. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential. At Cumberland Council, youll be part of a collaborative team committed to inclusion and positive outcomes for every child. This role requires a DBS check. The level of check for this role is - Enhanced DBS Check with a Childrens Barred List check.
