We are seeking an experienced
Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health (OH) Manager to lead our safety and wellbeing strategy at our Wrexham site. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, and protecting the health of our people and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing EHS and OH team to deliver site-wide safety and health initiatives
- Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate EHS standards, including ISO14001
- Act as the site’s primary contact for audits, inspections, and emergency response coordination
- Drive continuous improvement in safety culture through training, communication, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with Occupational Health professionals to support employee wellbeing and workplace health
- Represent the site in global EHS forums and with external regulatory bodies
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- A natural leader who has formal people management experience, passionate about team development
- Experience in a similar position from a relevant industry e.g. pharma, chemical or other highly regulated manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of EHS best practise/regulation, and implementation of EHS and OH policy and process.
- NEBOSH and TECHOSH certifications
