Job Summary
Your role and responsibilities
The Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure database solutions using Amazon ElastiCache. This role requires a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and a proficient command of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement in-memory caching solutions using Amazon ElastiCache for high-performance data access.
- Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize database queries for improved system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.
- Implement robust and scalable architectures that can handle large volumes of data and traffic.
- Ensure database security and data integrity through appropriate authorization and authentication mechanisms.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose and execute solutions to improve efficiency.
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Document all database designs, processes, and procedures clearly.
- Keep abreast of new developments in database technologies and suggest improvements where necessary.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Proven experience as a Database Developer, Database Administrator, or similar role; Extensive experience with Amazon ElastiCache and Redis; Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Node.js; Thorough understanding of data structures, database schemas, and query optimization techniques; Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
