About The Role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for an
Electrical Construction Manager to join our project team based in the South East. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the construction activities on a key scheme, leading teams on site, driving performance, and ensuring we deliver safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
What you'll be doing
- Leading site construction activities, including briefings, RAMS, putting people to work, and managing subcontractors.
- Driving safety excellence on site, inspiring teams and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
- Managing resources, schedules, and supply chains to deliver on time, cost, and quality targets.
- Supporting sustainability goals by promoting efficient use of waste, energy, and water, while leading effective community engagement initiatives.
- Working closely with QS, Design and Planning colleagues to meet deadlines and optimise project delivery.
- Maintaining strong customer relationships, managing change, and ensuring risks are identified and managed.
- Supporting people development and contributing to a culture of learning, safety, and collaboration.
Who we're looking for
- Previous Construction Management experience in complex construction environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence teams.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and customer management skills.
- Financial awareness with the ability to balance cost, safety, and sustainability targets.
- Valid CSCS card is essential.
- SMSTS, First Aid, Temporary Works Coordinator, and other relevant site safety qualifications.
