What you can expect:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Regional Center Western Europe. In this role, you will be responsible for the electrical design and technical planning of large-scale ground-mounted photovoltaic systems and battery energy storage systems. You will play a key role in ensuring the technical excellence and smooth execution of our UK-based renewable energy projects.

Tasks:

• Electrical design and detailed engineering of utility-scale PV power plants and BESS
• Design of data systems for monitoring, remote control, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Coordination with authorities, grid operators, and internal technical departments
• Review and validation of design documents from internal teams and external engineering firms
• Tendering, contracting, and acceptance of subcontractor services
• Evaluation of relevant technical standards and development of internal planning and safety guidelines

Profile:

• Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• Professional experience in utility-scale solar PV projects, ideally with BESS and knowledge of the UK market
• Solid technical background and genuine interest in renewable energy technologies
• Proficient in AutoCAD and PVsyst
• Comfortable working in dynamic environments and dealing with uncertainty
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Confident and assertive personality, able to challenge suppliers and contractors constructively
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
