This role is responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, investigation, examination and conditioning of Telecommunication and Optical equipment and associated sub-assemblies. Using approved data to maintain the stock.
How you create impact
Fantastic working environment along with great hours of Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
- Use your skills to maintain items or equipment ranging from batteries to radio systems.
- Establish and understanding of Risk Assessments and Risk Controls including understanding how to identify risks.
- Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents within the workplace.
- Actively participate and input into WIs/SOPs and process confirmations, assisting with the identification of necessary amendments, updates and rewrites as required
- Ensure you work within current approved data, policies, processes, procedures and management guidance.
- Work with others to ensure required outcomes are achieved
What we would like you to bring
- Level 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification/Apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Inventory management system experience - desirable
- Ability to understand and work with approved data
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
- Leadership qualities including the ability to enthuse and motivate.
- Drive, determination, and a track record in delivering continuous improvement.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good Communicator along with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
