JCB is seeking passionate and detail-oriented Electrical Verification & Validation Engineers to join our cutting-edge product development team. We have openings suitable for candidates at both Engineer and Senior Engineer levels, offering a clear path for growth and leadership.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our electrical systems through rigorous testing and validation. You’ll work closely with design, software, and systems teams to verify functionality across a range of off-highway machinery.
What does this role involve day to day?
Ordinarily, our Resourcing Team reviews and shortlists CVs. If shortlisted, you’ll speak to one of our Recruiters to discuss the role further. Our interview process usually consists of an initial teams interview followed by an in-person interview. - Developing and executing comprehensive verification and validation plans for vehicle electrical systems and components
- Designing and implementing test procedures to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of electrical systems.
- Conduct functional, integration, and system-level testing to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, software, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of electrical systems.
- Analysing test results, identify root causes of failures, and implement corrective actions.
- Documenting and maintain detailed test reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Providing technical guidance and support to engineering teams in the development and validation of electrical system
- You possess Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- You have experience in electrical verification and validation within the automotive industry.
- You have strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and components.
- You have experience in electrical testing tools and methodologies.
