Electronics Engineer

KDC Projects is seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer to join the team on a contract basis to support aerospace programmes.

The role involves supporting the design, development, testing, and production support of electronic systems used in mission-critical aerospace applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Support production operations by resolving electronics design issues
Manage non-conformances, including change requests and technical reviews
Address electronics component obsolescence across defined assemblies
Perform system-level and board-level debugging and fault-finding

Essential Skills & Experience:

Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
Senior-level, hands-on electronics engineering experience
Broad electronics design background (schematic & PCB, digital, analogue, SMPS)
Experience resolving component obsolescence

Strong debugging and investigation capability

Proficient with MS Office

Desirable:

Aerospace industry experience
Knowledge of aerospace standards (DO-160, DO-254, MIL-STD, ECSS)
Change management experience (CRs, NCRs, technical reviews)
Experience writing and executing qualification test plans
