Elite 3E Systems Accountant

Mostly remote with regular travel to Cardiff

£50,000 - £75,000 per annum

SystemsAccountants are currently working with an organisation in the legal sector Financial Systems Accountant with deep domain expertise in Elite 3E Practice Management Solution (‘PMS’) to play a critical role in the Day 2 transformation of finance systems. The firm successfully implemented the PMS in the spring of 2024, have operated with the support of external consultants since Go-live, and are now in the steady state to optimise the platform.

This new role will drive the optimisation of the platform, delivering efficiency in processes, facilitate the provision of real time insights and analytic reports to drive profitability and improve working capital. Reporting directly to the CFO with a dotted line to the IT Director, the role will be required to work collaboratively between functions to support the future growth of the firm.

Responsibilities

Be the finance subject matter expert on 3E and all other finance systems utilised by the firm.
Effect change. Champion the PMS and finance systems as the catalyst to solve the firms challenges and be the catalyst to transform the finance function to support the firm.
Create and own the finance process maps to drive continuous improvement, removing manual processes and embedding efficiency into BAU tasks.
Oversee the business intelligence design, improvements and production.
Project work to include the automation of management account production, reporting packs and dashboards.
Relentless pursuit to focus the firm on the key operating metrics, make information readily and easily available to drive improved decision-making.
Be the link between Finance, IT and external consultants.
Ensure system integrity and manage core financial data structures.

Skills, Experience and Required Qualifications

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a finance function as a Financial Systems Accountant or supporting Financial teams as an external consultant.
Direct experience of implementing, running and optimising 3E PMS.
Experience in the legal sector.
Understanding of SRA Accounts Rules.
Proven track record of optimising PMS platforms.
