Embedded Software Engineer

Hardware Engineer – Robotics & Automation Startup (London, Onsite)

We’re hiring on behalf of a fast-growing, well-funded startup that’s building the core software and AI powering next-generation robotics and industrial automation.

They’re looking for a Hardware Engineer to join their world-class team. This is a hands-on role combining systems integration, field testing, prototyping, and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and integrate software with robotics, sensors, and edge devices
• Design and fabricate mechanical/electrical components using CAD (Solidworks preferred)
• Support field testing, pilot autonomous systems, and ensure safety protocols
• Debug hardware/software systems; modify embedded software (C/Python)
• Run demos and gather feedback from customers and end users

Ideal Background:

• MSc/MEng in engineering or a technical field
• Hands-on experience with prototyping, CAD, embedded systems
• Comfortable with workshop tools and test instruments (oscilloscopes, signal generators)
• Programming in C/C++ or Python
