The Regional Portfolio Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational execution, and compliance oversight of all security services across a designated geographic region. This role ensures alignment with corporate objectives, contractual obligations (e.g., MSA, SSA), and regulatory standards. The manager leads a team of Sub-Regional Managers and site-level security personnel, driving performance, innovation, and continuous improvement while serving as the primary liaison between corporate leadership, regional stakeholders, and third-party providers. Is accountable for achieving and reporting on the monthly key performance indicators (KPI).
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & GovernanceRepresent the region in governance forums (SLT, ELT, SMT, OMT).Translate global security strategy into regional execution plans. Direct oversight of the monthly measurable KPIsLead regional change control processes and approve service modifications.Identify and implement innovative opportunities to optimize service delivery and efficiency.Deliver quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and annual performance summaries to senior leadership. Sub-Regional Oversight & Team ManagementDirectly manage Sub-Regional Managers, ensuring performance alignment and accountability.Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and succession planning.Ensure consistent enforcement of company policies, standards, and SOPs across sub-regionsMonitor staffing levels, turnover, and ensure timely backfill (<8 weeks) and contingency coverage. Operational ExecutionMaintain comprehensive site dossiers including SOPs, escalation protocols, and contact lists.Conduct daily operational check-ins with sub-regionalsValidate guard force attendance, shift coverage, and roster compliance.Ensure compatibility with corporate IT systems and reporting platforms (API-based feeds). Risk Management & ComplianceOversee regional threat assessments, risk profiles, and mitigation strategies.Ensure compliance with corporate standards, local laws, and regulatory frameworks.Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses in coordination with EHS/Compliance Manager and sub-regional manager.Maintain audit documentation per Records Information Management (RIM) standards.Support internal and external audits, including subcontractor reviews. Crisis & Emergency ResponseAct as the regional lead for all major incidents including workplace violence, natural disasters, and civil unrest.Maintain and implement Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) aligned with corporate BCM framework.Participate in REI drills and crisis management planning.Ensure emergency kits, evacuation plans, and contact lists are up-to-date and tested. Vendor & Subcontractor ManagementOversee subcontractor performance, compliance, and service-level adherence.Ensure subcontractors meet Minimum Security Standards and legal requirements.Act as limited agent for managing agreements with Managed Contractors.Conduct annual reviews and ensure BCPs are tested and site-specific. Financial OversightManage regional budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.Approve vendor contracts, invoices, and resolve discrepancies.Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial summaries to corporate finance. Quality Assurance & DocumentationEnforce adherence to SOPs, Work Instructions, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).Implement a Quality Management Assurance System across the region. Stakeholder Engagement & CommunicationServe as the primary advisor to regional senior leadership on security matters.Collaborate with HR, Legal, IT, and Facilities to align security initiatives.Conduct regular Voice of the Customer (VOC) meetings and manage stakeholder feedback.Deliver executive-level reports and performance presentations.
