A leading provider of diesel and gas engines is offering an exciting opportunity in their automotive division for a talented Emissions Technician.
The role involves supporting the maintenance and operation of emissions measurement equipment in a fast-paced R&D environment. It requires hands-on technical skills to install, calibrate, and troubleshoot complex instrumentation, while assisting engineers with investigations into emissions technologies. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. This is a shift-based role, including weekend work, and is best suited to those with electro-mechanical maintenance experience and familiarity with emissions analysis tools and processes.
Key Requirements:
- Maintenance experience (plant/instrumentation).
- Electro-mechanical technical training or equivalent experience.
- Experience with gaseous/particulate measurement.
- Familiarity with specific analysers (Horiba, Sierra, Cambustion, AVL).
- Experience in engine test cell environments.
