Description

Achieving for Children is a dynamic social enterprise with the heart of the public sector and the agility of an innovator. Owned by the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead, Kingston, and Richmond councils, we blend public service values with the freedom to do things differently, all while reinvesting in our communities, not shareholders. If you're passionate about making a real difference and want to work in an environment where fresh ideas are welcomed, this is the place for you.

About the Role – Shape the Experience of Our People

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our newly formed Employee Experience team, where we’ve combined the strengths of our Employee Relations and Organisational Development functions. Together, we're driving meaningful change – focusing on what really matters: helping our people feel supported, empowered, and inspired at every stage of their journey with us.

From onboarding and performance to wellbeing, engagement, and leadership development – you’ll help shape a workforce that’s ready to deliver the very best for children and families.

🌍 Work Your Way

We understand the importance of balance. That’s why we offer a hybrid working model, giving you the flexibility to split your time between working from home and collaborating in one of our welcoming offices.

About You - Collaborative. Proactive. People-Focused.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a team, is confident working across services and partners, and is passionate about creating a great employee experience.

You’ll bring experience in organisational development, L&D, or HR, along with a strong commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

🧠 You’ll also bring:

  • Proven experience organising and supporting engaging events — in-person and virtual.
  • Strong analytical skills to help us track and improve what we do.
  • Confidence working with a range of stakeholders to drive shared goals.
  • A solutions-focused mindset, knowing when to act and when to escalate.
  • Solid business awareness and the ability to deliver quality work efficiently.

If you're organised, motivated, and excited by making a positive impact on people’s working lives, we’d love to hear from you!
