Job Description

We’re recruiting for an Employee Relations Consultant to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary. As an Employee Relations Consultant, you’ll play a key role in shaping a positive employee experience and ensuring our people policies reflect both our values and the evolving world of work.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing expert advice on employee relations matters to managers and HR colleagues
  • Supporting organisational change projects including restructures and TUPE transfers
  • Building strong partnerships with HR, business leaders, and trade union representatives
  • Delivering coaching and training to enhance ER capability across the business
  • Monitoring employment legislation and recommending policy updates
  • Analysing ER data to identify trends and inform decision-making
  • Advising on complex employee relations cases with a focus on resolution
  • Promoting a culture of fairness, inclusion, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

  • CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience working in a unionised environment
  • Proven ability to manage complex ER cases and conflict resolution
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of business priorities
  • Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to positive employee outcomes
