Our client, a leading construction consultancy, is seeking an Employer’s Agent to join their team. The role involves delivering EA and Contract Administration duties for new-build residential projects, working with Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and Private Developers. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity/Building Surveyor or Project Manager looking to progress their career.

The role:

• Support pre-contract activities: developing briefs, assembling delivery teams, procuring consultants, preparing tender/contract packages, and reviewing proposals.
• Act as Employer’s Agent during delivery: chair progress meetings, administer contracts (JCT, D&B, bespoke agreements), and report on cost, time, and quality.
• Manage handovers: conduct inspections, oversee post-completion activities, final accounts, and Building Manual audits.
• Advise clients on development control, funding, and delivery standards within the housing sector.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring successful project outcomes.

What they’re looking for:

• Experience in Employer’s Agent / Contract Administration for new-build housing.
• Background working with Local Authorities, Housing Associations, or Private Developers.
• MRICS (or working towards APC) or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong communication, organisation, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
