Employment Paralegal (Senior)
London | Permanent
A top City law firm with a strong employment practice is looking to appoint a senior Employment Paralegal on a permanent basis. This role sits within a busy advisory-focused team and offers the opportunity to support experienced employment lawyers on a wide range of non-transactional matters.
The position is suited to a paralegal who enjoys technically interesting employment law work and wants to build long-term experience within a structured, partner-led team.
The Senior Paralegal will provide day-to-day support across advisory employment matters, working closely with partners and senior associates. Responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation of written advice, drafting client updates and briefings, managing employment-related documentation and contributing to the development of internal precedents and knowledge materials.
The role also includes involvement in wider team initiatives, such as training support, business development activity and pro bono projects.
The firm is seeking a candidate with prior experience in employment law, gained within a law firm or comparable professional services environment. You should be comfortable working in a client-facing, billable setting and have strong written communication skills. An interest in knowledge development and broader practice support is important. Experience working with corporate clients would be beneficial but is not essential.
This is a permanent opportunity offering exposure to high-quality employment law work in a collaborative and supportive environment. The role provides stability, close supervision from senior lawyers and the chance to develop as an employment paralegal without the pressure associated with traditional fee-earner career tracks.
