Job Purpose
You will be responsible for centralised management and coordination of the energy metering and connections function within the UU Energy Team.
Managing performance of UUW fiscal electricity meters for existing HH, NHH supplies, and performance of UUW sub-metering system.
Overseeing the management of new / upgrades for electricity connections, interfacing with the wider business, including CEC and Electrical Infrastructure Teams.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Management of energy replacement programmes, taking portfolio view of prioritisation including funding constraint, contractor resources, and metering /reading issues.
- Performance reporting regarding meter issues, queries, and replacement. Including risk escalations, and forecast of future workload demand on the team
- Management of the function to complete and submit, and track grid applications on behalf of UUW
- Develop and manage Grid Application processes and management system
- Support resource for sub-metering performance, prioritisation of remedial work, and direction of resources to target faults / non-working sub-meters
Technical Skills & Experience
- Experience of electrical connection to DNO environments
- Experience of managing large electrical metering portfolio
- You will have experience of drafting and presenting business case for capital approval also capex management, including financial control, and programme forecast builds
- Development and implementation delivery plans
- Ability to influence and guide others to complete actions
