Beat the Street is game that enables adults and children to connect to where they live through walking, wheeling and cycling and empowers them to make simple changes to their daily behaviour.
We're on the lookout for two engagement coordinators to work with local stakeholders to build the game's profile and to recruit teams from schools and community groups.
This involves attending community events, presenting at parent’s evenings and assemblies, leading occasional walks and championing active travel to get schools and communities involved in the initiative.
You will also need to work with local voluntary groups, clubs and businesses to get teams signed up and to raise awareness of the scheme.
You will also need to plan and deliver a launch event, celebration event and prize giving in partnership with the key stakeholders.
