Exciting Opportunity: Engine Mechanic/ Technician Wanted

Are you a skilled aerospace industry professional with a passion for engine maintenance and repair? This company is seeking an experienced Engine Mechanic/ Technician to join their dynamic team in Stansted.

About the Role

As an Engine Mechanic/ Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance and repair activities within the company's busy workshop. This is a key role that will involve working closely with the Team Leaders and Workshop Manager to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards and in a timely manner.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Performing maintenance and repair work on various engine types, including CFM56, LEAP, V2500, RB211, CF6, CF34, PW4000, PW1000G and Trent700
Adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements
Maintaining excellent organisational and communication skills
Demonstrating a flexible and adaptable approach to your work
Promoting a safe and efficient working environment

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for this Engine Mechanic/ Technician role will have the following qualifications and experience:

Time-served aerospace industry apprenticeship with a minimum of 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience
Previous experience working in a busy engine shop on the engine types listed above
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Knowledge of engine shop manuals and associated manuals, including relevant ATA chapters
Awareness of Part 145 and FAA regulations
A previously held company approval on at least one of the engine types above
