What We're Looking For
As part of the role, you are to provide support to customers in the Maritime industry globally in their efforts to make the right decisions to achieve profitable and sustainable results. You will also work collaboratively with a range of technical specialists on a broad range of projects, providing the expert specialist technical advice that customers expect from our Advisory team, combining innovative thinking with precise rigour.

The Role
- To carry out technical assessments and provide specialist advice for service delivery, research or development work that includes budget constraints and contractual requirements.
- To support production of the deliverable within the agreed parameters in a defined format. Bring an innovative and enquiring mind to solve complex problems, especially where there’s no precedent.
- Gather data and research information from a range of sources to provide clear, well-written technical reports.
- Responsible for own work to an excellent standard, on time and to budget.
- Take personal responsibility for identifying and continually seeking improvements to service delivery.
- Undertake administration as required in line with current processes and procedures.
- Develop client relationships through interactions with client personnel, possibility to participate in business development activities
- Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.
- To pursue Continuous Professional Development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge and awareness.
- To make suggestions to improve service delivery effectiveness through changes to processes or work scope such that it leads to a reduction in appraisal effort (where applicable).
What You Bring
- Minimum Engineering/Bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Demonstrate understanding of Consulting service offerings and ability to communicate their value
- Experience in the use of structured problem-solving approaches / frameworks
- Adaptable and well organised with a practical minded approach and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Possessing good written and verbal communication skills, having the ability to adapt and work to tight deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate issues and ideas effectively.
- Experienced in managing data, spreadsheets and producing reports, KPIs and recommendations.
- Experience of leading by example in delivering a high level of customer service individually and as part of a team.
- Be flexible, adaptable, and prepared to take on new challenges and work from other LR or client office locations.
- Be highly self-motivated, possessing strong enthusiasm and commitment to delivering sustainable outcomes.
- Ability to review processes and procedures and make changes as required ensuring maximum efficiency as part of the team.
- Proficiency in English language with excellent writing skills.
