Transport for London (TfL) Engineers are always looking forward. Join us in our Operating Assets Engineering teams and, as well as maintaining legacy assets, you’ll deliver new systems and solutions. As an Engineering Vehicles Track Plant Engineer, you will collaborate daily with our Engineering Vehicles division and associated project teams. Your role will involve delivering work packages and technical solutions for our own OTM fleet, ensuring they remain safe, compliant, and perform optimally. Using your expertise, you will develop innovative solutions, provide assurance, and offer guidance to key stakeholders. Additionally, you will communicate effectively with Senior Plant Engineers, Engineering Managers, Project Engineers, and Maintainers to support operations.
The Engineering vehicles fleet will be renewed and developed in the future with the introduction of new machinery. By being embedded within the Engineering team you will be able to influence scope and steer projects into an optimised direction so that all assurance and maintenance activities are resolved at design stage.
