Engineer, Design Verification Engineering

The Data Center and Energy team at Analog Devices is seeking an Analog and Mixed Signal Verification Engineer. The successful candidate will join a talented and motivated multi-disciplinary team, using a continuously-improving best-practice verification methodology to ensure first-time success of impactful and innovative analog and mixed-signal products and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelors/Master's degree in electronics engineering or equivalent
  • Some experience relevant to the design verification of mixed signal devices
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to learn
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with a global team

Role

  • Pre-silicon verification of impactful, innovative mixed-signal products, working with a team of verification and design engineers
  • Using Cadence tools to perform digital mixed-signal DMS UVM verification and metric-driven analog mixed-signal (AMS) simulations
  • Modelling and validation of analog blocks (RNM, Verilog-AMS)
  • Using verification planning tools (ePlanner/vManager) and scripting languages (Shell/TCL/PERL/Python)
  • Bridging the verification and validation environments, supporting post-silicon validation
  • Work with the team to continuously improve verification flows, methodologies and models
  • Support project management, task planning, resource planning, and scheduling
