We are currently recruiting for an
Engineering Administrator, based at our Ruskington site. The primary purpose of the role is to provide support for the engineering Stores manager, Engineering reliability supervisor and administration duties to including collecting downtime data and formatting, liaising with HR around department holidays and overtime etc.
Responsibilities

- Working in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc.
- Collate all downtime data and prepare for engineering meeting reviews.
- Create spreadsheets to populate the data into areas to show trends.
- Print out weekly/monthly data so it’s available on the required KPI boards.
- Support the site initiatives on energy reduction with data collection.
- Support the RCA process and actions, driving the close out of actions from RCA’s.
- Support the engineering stores manager with day to day activities
- Raise Requisitions where required
- Receive and receipt goods making sure the delivery note matches the purchase order
- Despatch item for repair as and when required
- Control remedial items from OEMs for service and liaise with the Reliability Supervisor
- Liaise with the maintenance coordinator on parts received in directly for work orders so these can be planned
- Review open work orders requiring parts and update due dates and chase where required
- Carry out cycle counting, and quarterly stocks counts
- Carry out inventory checks and ensure empty bins have been actioned and parts reordered
- Raise purchase orders in the absence of the engineering stores manager
- Create spreadsheets where required to support useful data.
- Support the pillars process and preparation for audits.
- Raise purchase orders as and when required.
- Provide cover for the engineering reliability supervisor with regards to the weekly ppm plan
- Provide cover for the Engineering Stores Manager
- Take minutes from engineering meetings to track actions and progress.
- Manage team admin liaising with HR around department holidays and overtime etc.
- Work collaboratively with site teams to ensure team goals are always achieved.
- The ability to look at other opportunities and not excepting one possibility.
Hours of work will generally be Monday to Friday; however, some flexibility of working hours may be needed based on the needs of the business.
Skills & Knowledge
- Experience will have been gained within a similar role.
- A proven track record, with a “Can Do attitude “and the ability to offer realistic solutions to problems encountered.
- Ability and can-do attitude to gain the respect and credibility with site teams.
- Computer literate and strong excel knowledge, including a good understanding of SAP.
- Being able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
- Must have a challenge mindset and positive outlook on driving results.
- Team player that can work outside of their role to support the bigger picture.
- Flexible in working hours where required
