What we do at Codat Codat helps build deeper connections with business customers. We offer products that make it easy to access, synchronize and interpret data from customers financial software for specific use cases, such as onboarding suppliers to commercial card programs and underwriting business loans.

The depth of specialization and expertise that runs through our products and service enables our clients to more effectively grow share of wallet, reduce churn and scale operations. Who do we need, and why? Our Engineering team enables Codat to consistently build and launch innovative and useful solutions for our clients.

This role will be to lead a squad of 4-6 Engineers within our Client Experience team. This team spans across the business, having a considerable influence on the success of our clients- this could be helping clients get started with setup, helping provide expert documentation through to data visualisation and data management tools.

For this role we are looking for a passionate people leader, who is able to motivate and mentor their team and help guide them to success. As well someone who still fundamentally cares about technology and shipping great products that will delight clients. What youll bring to the team

• Natural people leadership- you care about the success of your team and want to help them develop and grow and regularly product high quality results
• Start-up mindset- As a start-up its important that this person wants to help us deliver at pace and has the attitude to get things done
• Experience managing performance review cycles, running 1-2-1s and providing support and feedback to your team
• Product minded- Ideally youll have experience building b2b saas products but we want someone who thinks about how to build great products.
• Collaborative- you know how to bring people from other teams together to create success.
• Strong technical skills- Were not expecting someone to write code (unless they want to) but we are looking for someone who still keeps up to date with advancements and best practices in development and has a strong understanding of architecture.
• Full stack/Frontend leaning- We want an all rounder but frontend leaning would be our preference (we use React, Typescript,Svelte). On the backend side experience with C# would be ideal.
