Job Title: MBSE Practitioner

Salary: £63,900+ dependent upon skills and experience
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide technical leadership of the simulation practice on the Dreadnought AVC project using the MathWorks suite
- Work with the Dreadnought project team and others in the Chief Engineer team to understand, define and derive the requirements placed on the Dreadnought AVC system by the Dreadnought programme
- Define a simulation architecture that meets these requirements and enables the subsequent development of lower level systems design
- Provide direction on the MBSE approach, tools and methods to the product delivery team
- Present and communicate with Senior Management and Board Level representatives on the status of the methodology and solutions based on a MBSE approach
- Provide thoughtful and innovative ideas that can challenge the norm and traditional ways of working
Essential
Your skills and experiences:
- Model-driven systems engineering approach to Product Design, Development, Testing and Acceptance
- Proficiency in Mathworks System Composer and Simulink applications
- Complex large model management in the simulation environment
- Degree qualified in an Engineering or related discipline
Desirable
- Working towards Professional Registration preferred

The team works at the forefront of complex systems engineering, focusing on managing large-scale models within simulation environments to support the design and development of advanced control systems. Bringing together experienced engineers from Defence, Aerospace, and other highly regulated industries, we deliver projects across the full engineering lifecycle, from early concept and prototyping through to test, acceptance, and deployment. Our approach integrates digital thread methodologies and model-based systems engineering to drive product evolution, upgrades, and innovation.
