Engineering Manager - Transaction Reporting Platform

Miryco Consultants are working with a fast-growing firm in the RegTech space to hire an energetic Engineering Manager to lead and inspire their software engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the direction of a market-disrupting product, focused on transaction reporting and regulatory compliance.

In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee product delivery, drive engineering excellence, and foster a high-performance culture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are robust, innovative, and aligned with both business and regulatory needs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of engineers through coaching, feedback, and career development.
• Foster a collaborative and accountable engineering culture focused on quality and continuous improvement.
• Oversee planning and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring on-time and high-quality outputs.
• Manage sprint cycles, remove delivery bottlenecks, and support agile ways of working.
• Work closely with product managers to translate business needs into technical plans.
• Collaborate with regulatory specialists to ensure compliance and reporting standards are met.
• Contribute to technical decision-making, architecture discussions, and code reviews as needed.
• Champion modern software engineering practices across the team.
• Act as a bridge between engineering, product, regulatory, and commercial teams.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and opportunities clearly to stakeholders across the business.

Experience Required:

• Proven track record of managing and scaling engineering teams in fast-paced or dynamic environments.
• Strong technical background with the ability to engage in architectural and technical discussions.
• Experience delivering complex software products, ideally in a SaaS or B2B context.
• Deep understanding of Agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code reviews.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product and compliance teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Passion for mentoring and supporting engineers in their career development.

Working Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days per week in office)
