Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for developing others? At Müller, we’re looking for an Engineering Training Specialist who can bring deep technical knowledge, a strong background in Lean and Continuous Improvement (CI), and a hands-on approach to training and mentoring our teams across three sites.
This is more than a training role — it’s an opportunity to bridge the gap between engineering excellence and operational performance, empowering our teams with the skills and confidence to take ownership of asset care and preventative maintenance.
What You’ll Do
- Use your engineering expertise to coach and mentor operators, engineers, and maintenance teams in Asset Care and Preventative Maintenance tools, techniques, and systems.
- Apply Lean and CI principles to identify skill gaps and drive performance improvements using production loss and engineering data.
- Collaborate with Production Managers, CI Specialists, and Engineering Experts to develop and deliver impactful training programs.
- Maintain and evolve our Competency Framework, ensuring training materials are current and aligned with operational needs.
- Deliver engaging training on root cause analysis, breakdown analysis, and other key engineering and CI principles.
- Be a key contributor to the Müller Production System by sharing insights and recommendations based on your experience.
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
- Strong engineering background with hands-on experience in maintenance and fault finding.
- Proven experience in Lean methodologies and Continuous Improvement practices.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and communicate effectively across multiple teams.
- A passion for developing others and sharing technical knowledge.
Desirable
- Time-served apprenticeship or HND/Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience in operations or manufacturing environments and using Lean and CI tools.
