Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 Performance of project-based work

• Design and support appropriate solutions based on existing environments
• Create detailed design documents
• Evaluate and test new and evolving technologies
• Collaborate with Project Managers and all other key stakeholders throughout
  
  

the implementation process

• Creation and maintenance of project documentation, technical
  
  

documentation, and customer deliverables

• Deployment, integration & testing of UCC infrastructure within the candidate’s
  
  

career discipline (Microsoft, Zoom, Cisco, etc…)

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (including vendors) on
  
  

products and implementations as needed

• Participate in key projects to provide recommendations and guidance for
  
  

system migrations

• Provide basic project coordination for in-house projects to ensure they adhere
  
  

to company policy, are completed on time and within budget and meet the

deliverables of the project while following change control procedures

 Perform preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain customer spaces

• Provide applicable client training as needed
• Adhere to and understand local safety standards for all site duties
• Setup and troubleshoot various audio/video systems.
  
  

 Consulting

• Coordination of project tasks and changes
• Research and plan an optimal upgrade / change strategy
• Research and answer product specific technical questions within the
  
  

candidate’s career discipline (Microsoft, Zoom, Cisco, etc…)

• Research new technologies based upon customers business goals
  
  

 Other duties

• Assist GSOC with configuration changes and troubleshooting as necessary
• Develop internal training materials on system delivery and other basic tasks
• Work with Sales Engineers to ensure proper solutions are deployed based on
  
  

corporate standards

• Assist with providing custom labor estimation and statement of work
  
  

questions within the candidate’s career discipline (Microsoft, Zoom, Cisco,

etc…)

• Provide functional leadership of UCC Engineers and Project Managers within
  
  

large enterprise projects

 Personal and professional growth

• Gain/maintain technical knowledge within the candidate’s career discipline

• Gain/Maintain Strong Managed Services Product Knowledge
• Gain/Maintain Strong internal business process knowledge of end-to-end

• Build and maintain relationships with global partners, virtual teams and third
  
  

parties on deployment or support issues

 Ability to troubleshoot basic AV network and connection issues to UCC platforms

 Demonstrate the ability to work successfully with diverse cultures while

accommodating global time zone constraints

Education and/or Experience

 Required

• 10+ years of experience deploying, installing UCC infrastructure products
  
  

within the candidate’s career discipline (Microsoft, Zoom, Cisco, etc…)

• Senior level certifications within the candidate’s primary career discipline
  
  

(Microsoft, Zoom, Cisco, etc…) Examples include:

 Microsoft MS-102

 Cisco CCNP Collab (with specialization: CLICA / CLACCM / CLCEI /

CLAUTO)

• Senior level certification in networking technologies (Cisco CCNP, or similar)
• Senior level certification in a virtualization technology (VMWare VCA, Cisco
  
  

CCNA Cloud, or similar)

• Senior level certifications within the candidate’s alternate career discipline
  
  

(Microsoft, Zoom, Cisco, etc…)

• PowerShell
• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
  
  

 Desirable

• CCIE Collab
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical
  
  

Engineering, or related field

• Experience with Linux
• Experience with or certifications in virtualization technologies
• Desired Microsoft experience around assessment, design, deployment,
  
  

configuration, troubleshooting and migration of the following products and

services:

 Microsoft Teams

 Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)

 Azure Active Directory and on-premises Active Directory including

hybrid deployments

 Azure AD Identity

 Teams calling and meeting deployment

 Microsoft Endpoint Manager

 Microsoft Service connectivity, network optimization and DNS

 Surface Hub and Microsoft Teams Room device and account

configuration

 PowerShell

 Documentation skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio
