Salary: NLC12 £46,872 - £51,557

Location: Dalziel Building, Motherwell (Hybrid working)

Hours: 35 per week (Mon–Thurs 08:45–16:45, Fri 08:45–16:15)

We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our Business Gateway team. In this role, you’ll support the Enterprise Development Manager and lead a team of Senior Business Advisers and Business Advisers. Your main goal will be to help local businesses start, grow, and succeed.

What you’ll do:

Lead and support a team delivering business advice and support services.
Help develop and improve the Business Gateway service across Lanarkshire.
Promote entrepreneurship and support new and existing businesses.
Work with partners and stakeholders to deliver projects and services.
Manage budgets and help shape future services based on business needs and trends.

What we’re looking for:

Strong experience working with or supporting businesses.
Project development and management skills, ideally in economic development.
Experience working with partners and interpreting business trends.
Budget management and problem-solving skills.
Ideally, experience with procurement or contract management.
A relevant qualification (HND, SVQ4, Degree or equivalent).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A full driving licence is desirable, as travel across North and South Lanarkshire is required.
