Principle Accountabilities
- Architect the Process Framework: Design and build a comprehensive process architecture that brings structure and clarity to how Imperial Brands documents, categorises, and manages business processes across the organisation.
- Collaborate and Align: Partner with stakeholders across functions to understand business needs, ensuring the process architecture is aligned, relevant, and scalable. Lead engagements between Imperial and SAP Signavio to support evolving demand.
- Analyse and Optimise: Review existing process documentation and models to identify patterns, gaps, and opportunities. Use these insights to inform and evolve the architecture, ensuring it remains fit for purpose.
- Establish Standards and Governance: Define naming conventions, hierarchies, and categories for processes. Create guidelines for maintaining and updating the framework, resolving duplication, and ensuring consistency across the business.
- Integrate and Enable: Work closely with technology teams to embed the architecture into platforms like LeanIX and SAP Solution Manager. Design new ways of working around SAP Signavio, including rules, principles, and user guidance.
- Monitor, Innovate, and Lead: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the framework, staying ahead of BPM trends and best practices. Present cases for innovation and lead teams of SMEs and consultants to deliver impactful change.
Skills and Experience Required
- Expertise in Business Process Management: A strong grasp of BPM principles, methodologies, and tools—paired with hands-on experience in analysing complex processes and identifying dependencies that drive smarter business outcomes.
- Taxonomy & Process Design Know-How: Proven ability to design and manage taxonomies, with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy in naming conventions, categorisation, and hierarchical structuring.
- Technical Fluency in Process Modelling: Comfortable working with industry-standard notations like BPMN and UML, and familiar with BPM platforms, workflow engines, and automation tools.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Strengths: Naturally curious and data-driven, with excellent analytical skills to uncover insights, resolve issues, and continuously improve process architecture.
- Collaborative Communication: A confident communicator who thrives in cross-functional environments—able to engage stakeholders, translate technical concepts, and drive alignment across teams.
- Agile & Future-Focused: Skilled in managing multiple projects and deadlines, with a growth mindset that keeps you ahead of emerging trends in BPM and process design.
