The Enterprise Risk Contractor will play a central role in advancing the firm’s enterprise risk capability, with a primary focus on enhancing the Risk Appetite Framework and maturing the enterprise Risk Taxonomy. Working within a wealth and advisory investment management environment, the role will support the development of clear Level risk categories, along with precise definitions and articulations that create a consistent risk language across the business.
A key responsibility is guiding the progression of the taxonomy and risk structures through the next stages of implementation within the GRC system, ensuring they are practical, embedded, and aligned to advisory-driven business activities. The Enterprise Risk Manager will also contribute to drafting risk appetite statements, helping translate strategy into measurable thresholds and tolerances that support decision-making and regulatory expectations.
Success in the role will require strong stakeholder engagement across investment teams, operations, compliance, and senior leadership. The manager will help prepare materials for governance reviews.
