Key info:

• 9 month Fixed Term Contract paying up to 80k base
• Hybrid working (3 days in office 2 from home)
• Report directly to Head of Enterprise Risk
• Proven Enterprise Risk experience and need to be available at short notice

Role Purpose: Enterprise Risk Manager (Maternity Cover)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as Enterprise Risk Manager on a maternity leave cover basis.

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Risk Management and Regulatory Affairs, you will provide crucial leadership and support in managing our enterprise risk framework. Your role will involve offering insight and assurance on current and emerging risks, always in line with our established Risk Strategy and Appetite, our commitment to policyholders, and all relevant regulatory obligations.

You'll need to be highly collaborative, working effectively with various first-line teams and coordinating with sub-teams within the Risk function. Your efforts will ensure our ERM framework, associated tools, and resilience plans are up-to-date, reflect best practices, and are fully embedded across the business. Knowledge/Experience

• Significant ERM experience gained within Financial Services
• Significant knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, and industry requirements
• Must be a risk professional with experience working within an Enterprise Risk Management team.
• Must possess experience liaising and interacting with senior individuals and presenting to committees.
• Experience working within an independent challenge function
