What you’ll be doing:
This position leads on policy governance and enterprise risk framework oversight, ensuring consistency and compliance across the Group. You’ll be a key influencer of risk culture and policy alignment at the most senior levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the Group Policy Framework and Policy Hub.
- Challenge and support business areas on policy implementation.
- Deliver MI, risk appetite statements, and emerging risk assessments.
- Draft risk reports for committees and support external disclosures.
Who we’re looking for:
A confident communicator and strategic thinker with a passion for effective risk management and policy governance. You’ll bring experience working with senior leaders and influencing risk culture.
Skills & Experience: Essential:
- Strong experience in risk and policy frameworks within financial services.
- Excellent stakeholder management, including at executive level.
- Ability to deliver detailed and well-reasoned risk-based analysis.
- Experience in drafting Risk Appetite Statements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable:
- Professional qualification in Risk Management (or nearly qualified).
- Experience using risk taxonomy and MI tools.
- Previous involvement in policy attestation processes.
