Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR)

Location - Coventry or London

While this role offers hybrid flexibility, we expect team members to be in the office as needed based on business demands. For example, you might be required to work onsite five days a week for a couple of weeks, followed by several weeks with no in-office presence at all.

We’re looking for experienced, entrepreneurial founders to join our internal venture studio and help build a zero-carbon, zero-bill, zero-friction future.

You’ll take bold energy ideas from 0–1 — validating customer needs, testing solutions, building business models, and turning concepts into real ventures with real impact. This role is for people who thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and love building from scratch.

What you’ll do

• Create and validate new energy ventures from idea to traction
• Run experiments, engage customers, and prove product-market fit

Who you are

• A proven early-stage founder or startup operator
• Strong in customer research, lean/agile methods, and roadmapping
• Commercially sharp with solid financial acumen
• A self-starter with a bias for action and impact

Bonus

• Energy or regulated industry experience
• Experience in corporate innovation, local authorities, or fundraising
