Environmental Consultant to join the growing team in
Bristol. Working alongside an experienced team you will get involved with a vast array of development projects.
Responsibilities
You will be and enthusiastic environmental professional capable of providing environmental advice regarding surface water management, environmental incidents on a wide range of active constructions sites primarily in the East Midlands.
- Production of environmental management plans including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites
- Auditing construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management Plans
- Advising clients on meeting UK regulatory requirements including the preparation of permits applications and exemptions
- Liaison with regulators including the Environment Agency/ National Resources Wales
- Response / management of environmental incidents including, fuel/oil spillage, silt discharges, and effluent discharges
- Advice and on-site training of clients on issues including ecology, contamination and waste management
- Production of quotations/tenders for new projects
- Management of clients and projects
Person Specification
- This role is suited to someone with between 2 and 10 years minimum experience in the environmental sector.
- Able to deliver projects and work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy
- Able to work closely and confidently with clients and regulators
- A track record in managing time and resources effectively and within budget
- Full UK driving licence
