About the role
The Environmental Sustainability Manager will work closely with senior sustainability leadership to develop and deliver the organisation's environmental strategy. The role leads the Environmental Management System, including maintaining ISO14001 certification, and supports environmental reporting and delivery of Net Zero Carbon objectives.
A strong emphasis of the role is site-level delivery, working across estates, developments, and green spaces to embed environmental best practice. The role will also lead to the development and delivery of environmental training, including maintaining the organisation's status as an approved training centre. Working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, the role will build awareness, capability, and improvements in environmental performance to support delivery of the organisation's corporate strategy.
