About The Role
We're looking for an
Environmental & Sustainability Manager to join our team and support the delivery of the Electricity Transmission Partnership (ETP) Framework in the North of England.
This is a great opportunity to make a real difference by helping shape how we design and deliver electricity projects in a more sustainable way. You'll be part of a collaborative framework team that is focused on finding practical, innovative solutions to support the UK's transition to net zero.
What you'll be doing
- Helping to embed environmental and sustainability goals across the framework
- Supporting project teams to meet environmental and regulatory requirements
- Working with colleagues to reduce carbon, improve resource efficiency, and protect biodiversity.
- Preparing sustainability plans and environmental management documentation
- Building positive relationships with regulators, local communities and other stakeholders
- Monitoring performance and sharing progress to help drive improvement across projects
Who we're looking for
We're looking for someone who's passionate about sustainability and has the experience of working on large infrastructure or energy projects. You'll be comfortable working with different teams, building good relationships, and finding solutions that balance environmental goals with project delivery.
Ideally You'll Bring
- A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability or similar
- Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP)
- A good understanding of UK environmental regulations and sustainability standards
- Experience in infrastructure, utilities or energy related projects
