Ensure our warehouse runs like a well-oiled machine – your expertise in mechanical equipment can keep everything in perfect working order

Your Role

This role is responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, investigation, examination and conditioning of Mechanical equipment and associated sub-assemblies held at KNGD Donnington.

Your Responsibilities

  • Be an Ambassador for Safety at all times.
  • Ensure all Accidents are reported to the TL, Line Manager as required.
  • Establish and understanding of Risk Assessments and Risk Controls including understanding how to identify risks.
  • Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents within the workplace
  • Actively participate and input into WIs/SOPs and process confirmations, assisting with the identification of necessary amendments, updates and rewrites as required.
  • Responsible for ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with approved data
  • Building positive customer relationships and responding constructively to customer requests and internal departments
  • Responsible for the day-to-day processing of TS work orders.
  • Ensure you work within current approved data, policies, processes, procedures and management guidance.
  • Work with others to ensure required outcomes are achieved

Your Skills And Experiences

  • Level 3 Mechanical Engineering Qualification/Apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • Experience of working on MOD items/equipment. (Preferred)
  • Heavy Weapons experience, 105 Light Gun, AS90 (Preferred)
  • IMS experience
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and deal with conflict successfully.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety at work
  • Experience of working to agreed targets.
  • Intermediate PC Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook
